I was having issues on the website yesterday and I called in for help from a VC. He had me clear my cache. I hate to do that, but it did the trick. I suspect the website has cacheing issues and as you are using it your cache is getting full or messed up (whatever you want to say). He was very helpful, walked me through it on Chrome (he was glad to hear I was using Chrome, FWIW). I guess I'll be doing more of that - just have to log in again to my favorite places (like TUG and my games
). The VC suggested doing that when you see the 'something unexpected happened'.
(Wishful thinking he knew a better, less inconvenient option, but nope... Chrome: in the upper right corner - select the 3 vertical dots -> select delete browsing data -> select every option but passwords and other sign-in data -> select delete data)
