Cabo or PV in August?

I've been to both places in April. Now, my cousin wants to do an August vacation in Mexico with us. I understand it's pretty humid and rainy in PV that time of year. My cousin lives on a lake in California, where it's 95 degrees in August. I have a feeling that PV will be similar, but humid/rainy - not much of an improvement! Any input on Cabo?

Dave

I have read that PV may have lots of thunderstorms in August. Cabo is more desert and PV is tropical. We have been to PV in May it was very humid then August would be worse. Cabo in early June was very pleasant, we have been in early October and have found it to be warm and somewhat humid but less than what PV would have been.

We've gone to Cabo the second week of August for the past ten years. It's hot in the middle of the day but after the sun goes down, it's quite pleasant. Since it's desert, you don't have the humidity that PV does.

We spend the hottest part of the day in the pool, usually, and it works out well.

Have done both in Cabo during Aug and it's Cabo all the way. To humid and rainy in PV and the bay looks like a mud pool do to the run off. Cabo will be hotter but thats another reason for a cold cerveza.
