I am planning a trip to Cabo in the near future. I have vacationed in Cancun and have thoroughly enjoyed it, but I wanted to try Cabo.

Is the water okay to drink as it is in Cancun? I would hate to have my vacation ruined by drinking bad water. Thanks for your advice.

Once owned these: FirstFairway@Walden X 2; Lawai Beach; ManhattanClub; PuebloBonitoRose; 4 South Africa--now timeshare-free
We've been going to Cabo since 1998 and have found it safe to drink the water at the resorts. Most of them have their own filtration/purification systems.

Water Safety

Yes it should be safe to drink the water from the tap at most if not all resorts. Where you might (and that's a big might) have to worry is if you go to a place to eat outside of the resorts/hotels - I've never had an issue with all our trips - but some people worry about it - mainly with salads (if they wash the greens in untreated water). Anywhere we went they served us bottled water not a glass of water - so no worries there!

Go and have a great time, you will love Cabo - it's awesome!

We always drink bottled water in Cabo. We also keep our heads above water in the pools. My buddys wife was filling water bottles with tap and they both got sick.

We drank from the tap at PB Sunset throughout the week, in between water bottles, and we were fine. FWIW
