For those who've been to Cabo, do you have any suggestions for fishing charters? Anyone use Roberto's? Thank you for any suggestions, we are headed to Cabo in December.

Fishing out of Los Barriles is excellent.
It is an hour drive on the Gulf Side from Cabo.
It's a small fishing village.
We stayed at Hotel Playa del Sol. The place is set up for fishing. You book a boat, and select lunch the day before. Wake Up call and breakfast is just before first light.
You get on your boat and fish all day. The boats are set for between 2 and 4 people. They have a two person crew.

We had a blast and would go back in a heartbeat.
Here's a link with some info.

Hope this helps.

You can book a timeshare tour to any SolMar property(Playa Grande, Finisterra, Sol Mar) and get half off a Sol Mar Fleet boat.
Take friends and they can get half off for the next day. Split the cost and you fish for 25%. Sort of a twofer(fourfer? :) ).

Yes, I used Robertos(Robert) last May. He is a "Gringo" that moved to Cabo many years ago. He has a nice fleet, you just choose which boat you want to go on etc. Here is his link: http://www.robertossportfishing.com/. Very nice guy, he will make sure you catch some fish!

I've heard only good about Roberto's, but haven't used his services...yet. Bad Medicine is just that; stay away from them! I usually use Gordo Banks out of LaPlaya, next to the new San Jose Marina. He can book 2-3 persons per panga off the beach there, or arrange a larger cruiser out of the Palmilla Fleet. www.gordobanks.com

If your looking for a panga boat and a fisherman. Ask for Himey.. Don't know how to spell his name. He has a stand right in the corner of the dock where the Pango boat are.
