How far in advance do you need (or can you) to reserve a poolside cabana at Aulani?

I've run into issues at WKORV (Vistana), so I'd like to make sure I don't run afoul of the booked too late problem.

You asked the same question about the Marriott at Ko Olina and I said that at the Marriott not to worry
BUT when we walked thru at Aulani, the place was packed with people and I'd guess that booking there in advance would be a good idea.

Yes we have reservations at both resorts

In case anyone is interested, I called the concierge today and they were willing to put in a reservation 8 months out, so that’s pretty cool. Also no fee due until you check in do he cabana itself. Seems surprising since it’s so expensive and if you no show, not sure what the policy is
