Buying Marriott Destination Points Transfer Fee

If I purchase Marriott Destination points from the resale market with one beneficial interest, is the transfer fee $750 or is it a minimum of $3,500? How can I tell how many beneficial interests are included in the transaction? Thank you.

$3000 minimum. If you also don't currently own any trust points, there is a $300 owner education fee. A beneficial interest is 250 points.

I am also not sure how successful you will be in finding a 250 point contract out there or even someone willing to just sell one beneficial interest. The smallest listings I have seen were for 500 points but those aren't even very common.

I believe so. Someone reported selling individual Beneficial Interests in a previous post.

Yes, an owner can definitely sell certain beneficial interests from a large contract. We have done it.

If the minimum transfer fee is $3000, then purchasing 1-BI [250-DCP] works out to $12/Point. That stings.
On the other hand, purchasing 4-BI [1000-DCP] would be the minimum to maximize value on the $3/Point transfer fee of $3K.
However, this comes with higher annual MF, if the minimum points is all you want.
