Congrats ck1! Let us know how the requalification goes. Can I ask what you paid for the SDO? Was it the platinum? What were the options? Also, what part of michigan are you in? I'm orginally from Traverse City.

It is a platinum season floating 2 bedroom lock out weeks 1-52. Since it was pre starwood they said they would give me 81,000 options for it. I paid $5400through a tug ad. I did sign the starwood letter of intent to purchase which had the requalification on it.

I am about 4 hours from traverse city in Walled Lake, suburb of detoit

I just closed on my SDO week. My sales person has been monitoring the entire process. He even told me there was some late fees on the SDO account that were never disclosed to me (They were paid by the seller). The day after I closed (2 days ago) I recieved all the requalification papers outlined in the sticky above to attach to the Lagunamar contract.

So far so good!

The Requalification is Done!

I just checked mystarcentral after a tip from my salesperson and my SDO week now registers 81,000 options. My Lagunamar week has not showed up yet but my 140,000 points were put in my spg account.

I think it took about 3 weeks after I sent the papers in for my Lagunamar closing.

My sales person was great. He understood the retro process perfectly!
