Since I often need to print something while out of town, I'm compiling a list of information about the business centers. Please post name of property and whether the center is free to use or the cost to print/use computers. I'll keep this list updated so it's all in one place.

Oahu, HHV: free in Grand Waikikian lounge (open to everyone)
Big Island, Kings' Land: free
Las Vegas, Flamingo: free printing from room
Las Vegas, Karen Ave: charges but I don't know how much
Orlando, I-Drive: free printing from room
Orlando, SeaWorld: charges

I am at the International Drive location right now and one positive change from last year is a service called PrinterOn where you send whatever you want printed to the front desk through this service. Once you send it, a security number is sent back to you and you present that number at the front desk to pick up the document. There is no charge for this printing. It has annoyed me for several years to have thousands of dollars into the HGVC system, then be charged 75 cents per page to print at their business center, especially when you get this for free at Hampton Inn and other lower priced hotels!! This new service is very fast and efficient.

Yeah, and at Hampton Inns, you also get free breakfast!
... You have to be HH-gold for that perk elsewhere.
... but then, you are at a Hampton Inn.

We just returned from Seaworld. You can print your boarding passes for free. The use of the business center computer for documents require that you purchase a credit from the front desk for business use.

I really like PrinterOn. Have used it in hotels and timeshares, and it's one way to get free printing when the business center charges for printing from a computer in there.

I was just at Flamingo and it was free with the Printon system too.
The wifi was horrible, when I did manage to get it to hold the connection it was slow as molasses.

I was at I Drive about a month ago and you can print your boarding pass free. Just go to the lounge and they have computers and printers there. Three are for rent but the fourth you can log onto your airline, check-in and print your boarding pass free.

This is a great idea. I hope you are continually allowed the ability to edit to keep these at the top of the list. I thought there was a time limit on edits for posts on TUG though. Maybe that's changed.

Apparently the time limit isn't very long since I can no longer edit the original post.

One of the unfriendly features of TUG when compared to FT. Access to edit would make lists like this and the annual MF roundup more user-friendly by gathering accurate info in the first post after discussion.

Flamingo change

Flamingo no longer has printing from the room. They are in the process of changing from an outside company owning the two public computers and printer--and charging for use--to installing their own computers and printer for free use. No ETA, but after the lobby renovation is completed.

Was just at HGVC on the Strip and they have a business center where I printed my boarding passes for free. Wifi is also free.
Can't say the same about valet parking. :annoyed:
