How do you get from the sheraton in pv to the mayan palace in nuevo? I know that you need to take the ATM, but does it stop in front of the sheraton?
Thanks,
Ron

I'm pretty sure you can catch a Nuevo bus across the street from the Sheraton - north of the OXXO. (We did not try that this past fall.) If not, you will need to take a bus to the main transfer stop in front of the Walmart/Sam's. I know that you can get a bus to Nuevo there. (When we wanted to go toBucerias, we had to go to the Walmart/Sam's stop.)

ATM bus stops

The buses that go from Puerto Vallarta to the Mayan Palace and other locations in Nuevo Vallarta have a limited number of stops where they are allowed to pick up passengers. The ATM buses are not permitted to pick up passengers across from the Sheraton Buganvilias. You can get on the ATM buses at their garage which is located on a side street off the south side of the sports complex across from the Sheraton. That location is in a rather "seedy" area, and not appealing to get to especially after dark. Their next stops are in the "Los Glorias" area in front of the HSBC bank, and at the stop straight out front of the Walmart entrance (Not the bus stop in front of Sam's Club). A short city bus ride from the stop across from the Sheraton will take you to near either of those ATM stops. Last month, the city bus fare was 6.5 pesos each, and the ATM fare to the Mayan Palace area in Nuevo Vallarta was 13 pesos each.
