For Harbour Point/Sunset Pointe, what resort did you actually book? The rooms for each are in specific buildings and will determine where you can be placed. Harbour Point also has very different room types. From A to D and the size and layout of the rooms is quite different.

Have you looked at the resort maps for each property?

It looks like the interval reservations says harbour point but no specific building. You mention different room layouts a-d where can I find these layouts. Thanks

Here is a thread with some information about the size of each unit type. It was noted that chances are good that an exchange will be in a C or D unit. Here is a link to the resort map from the FAQ sticky. Since it is Harbour Point, you will be in Heron, Osprey or Pelican. I don't seem to have anything regarding the layouts of floorplans of each unit type. Perhaps @rsackett has or knows of something.

It's been forever since I've exchanged into HP or even stayed there, as it does not meet my minimum standards for HHI. HP is a fixed week, fixed unit property. You should be designated for a specific unit. See if your confirmation or online with Marriott lists the actual unit then you can see what layout it is. Statistically it's likely a D units.

According to the II Unit Code list, Marriott International just assigns a single unit code to the entire property. I don't think II shows the actual unit number and, upon checkin, one can be assigned to any unit that was deposited to II for the same week.

HAPT....Harbour Point...............N/A................2BR unit

Still the reservation is tied to a specific unit and that pulls up when the resort is looking at the reservation. II has the info as well but it doesn't appear they transmit it for each exchange.. While they could assign any open unit I suspect they routinely assign the underly8ing unit unless there is a problem with the unit or a special situation.

Sorry for the late response. The four unit layouts and size are shown in TUG reviews for Harbour Point under resort images. Also shown under the "C" & "D" layouts is a map showing where the different unit sizes are located. Note that the fifth floor A & B units are slightly different.
I own a B unit week 26, when I have exchanged in I always contact the resort ahead of time and point what unit type I own and they do their best to put me in one of those units.
