Broken Wyndham reservation system for Ovation member

I have been trying to make a reservation in 2018 for over a week without success. The message is that I do not have enough points. I have called Wyndham several times and they acknowledge the problem but do nothing to fix it. I had specific plans and am concerned that I will not be able to get what I want since it is a limited availability destination.
I believe that this lack of reservation access is a violation of the Ovation agreement and am considering my options should my vacation plans be thwarted by this problem. It is beyond comprehension that the Wyndham Information Systems (IS) department would make such a big change to a new reservation system without a manual backup plan. Such action implies either gross stupidity of a lack of concern for Wyndham owners, especially Ovation members.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Ovations has nothing to do with you problem. Ovations is a program where Wyndham will at their discretion take back a free and clear, up to date Wyndham deed with no monetary compensation and in some cases give 3 years of points usage in exchange for the deed back.

Are you having problems with CWA ARP 13 months reservation and if so at which resort? If that is your problem then yes, others are experiencing that problem. It may be account specific problem or it might be a resort specific problem What resort are you trying to book?

I think if the OP had original points from developer they give them a few years of points to use as part of the ovation plan. Maybe he is trying to use his points.

Of all times to do the switch over to a unproven and inoperable website they had to pick the beginning of summer, the busy travel time for families.
My guess is they didn't take into account that many, making ARP reservations and were going for a mid May release so they still had a few months to work out the bugs before the 10 month release of the prime summer inventory.

I think the release had to happen before the annual meeting. It wasn't so the date of the meeting was changed

I don't think they could postpone the meeting again so ready or not they had to roll it out

I was trying to make a reservation 10 months out at Bluebeards's Beach Resort in St Thomas. I tried other resorts and they did not work either. Just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Wyndham customer relations (again) and was told that the root cause had not been identified and it will be 3-5 days before the problem is fixed. I was also told that many regular members are also impacted.

Yes there are several resorts that are having inventory release problems and there are several individuals having account problems for unknown reasons.
