I would love recommendations for which resort to choose in Branson for late May and June.
My family loves silver dollar city and all the shows, but we usually are there at thanksgiving and Christmas
Maybe the lake would be better, all advise welcome

I prefer Mountain Vista because it's smaller, quieter and units are newer and very slightly larger, or at least seem like it. There's an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tubs, an activity center/workout room and that's al we need. Plenty of parking.

If you have kids, there's more for them to do at Meadows. But it's much bigger, more people, more traffic, louder, and on busy weeks parking near your unit could be a problem.

I've never stayted at Falls, but I really see no reason to stay there. It's older, no elevators, and no amenities except an outdoor pool.

Do the Branson Scenic railroad, Talking Rocks Caverns, rent a boat at the lake. Do some wineries and distilleries. Some of the shows are nice.

I'm not a Silver Dollar City guy, but there's plenty of stuff to do.
 
On the drive home from a week at Mountain Vista with my wife and kids (9 and 6). We had a 2br and it was nice and quiet. There's two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Room was nice, everything was great. It was also pretty quiet.

We did:
-Silver Dollar City - great fun
-Promise Land Zoo - Decent, not a proper zoo experience
-Wonderworks - Think science museum meets children's museum - well worth it, Wyndham had decent ticket prices
-Reza - Absolutely fantastic! I ended up winning a meet and greet during the show, and they halved the cost for the rest of the family to meet Reza and ask questions after - you might miss him though, as he's about to do some touring

Places of note that we are:
-Gettin Basted - fantastic BBQ
-Mellow Mushroom Pizza at The Landing
