I signed up for Westgate Towers - Orlando - $10200
2 weeks 2BR lockoff - Even year
753 maintenance + 115 taxes
They threw in Unlimited Getaways

Is this a good deal, need your guidance urgently. I still have time to rescind.

Thankyou all in advance

Although the free getaways sound enticing, if you paid more than $100 it is not a good deal in my opinion. My basis being the large inventory of timeshares on the resale market in Orlando.

If you bought from the developer rescind, relax and research other opportunities err unifies.

Good luck!

Rescind. Never have any dealings with Westgate. They lie and you can never sell that purchase. You would have to pay to get rid old it. There are far better timeshares for far less money.

Rescind immediately. Send it to the Ocoee Fl address, certified. Return all their junk or they will charge you.

Glad you found us and Goods Luck!

Jim

Rescind immediately.

As others have said, you can buy a FL timeshare on the resale market for pennies on the dollar.

And Westgate has a horrible reputation (search this BBS using the terms "Wastegate").

Scroll down to post #24 in this previous Tug Thread about a Timeshare Rescision - the post contains a suggestion for your rescision letter which you should send immediately - certified, return receipt requested.

RUN AWAY RUN AWAY FAST!!!!! I was given a week at Westgate lakes and regret ever taking it!

I would rescind. You can find rentals for the amount of the maintenance fees and unfortunately what you bought at retail will sell for less than $100. Rescind and do some research, you will be happier

Rescind IMMEDIATELY. What you bought has zero to negative value.
