Checked into Room 1202, for 5-6 days. Looking out over Faneuil Market and the Christmas Tree.

Anyone else here?

No but we were there two weeks ago.
The guest relations guy (Matt?) gives a very interesting free walking tour of the North End. We learned a lot!

We were there 11-18-Dec...Great Time!

Hi,

Boston Customs House is fantastic!

We had room 1703, looking out over the harbor towards the airport.

We went to Museum of Fine Arts, JFK Presidential Library, Prudential Building Observatory(Skywalk), all easy subway rides. Bought a one week Charlie Pass at the airport and used it a lot...very good deal.

Check out Rafael Gitano, guitarist. He's really good.

Have a wonderful visit!

We had a good time. Since we've been there frequently over the years, our trip was very laid back and nothing scheduled.

Did a lot of walking and window shopping. Went to Copley Place and the Prudential Center. Discovered the Boston Public Market, over beyond the Union Oyster House, corner of Sudbury Street.

Sort of disappointed with the shops at Faneuil Market. Sort of low-class now.

Did get recommendations for two North End Italian restaurants, from the concierge: La Summa and Limoncello. Both are off Hanover, up near St. Stephan's Church. It amazed us that so many people were waiting in line for the restaurants on Hanover when there were plenty of other restaurants one street over in any direction. La Summa is the one we tried. Open Saturdays for brunch and then evenings. Will try Limoncello next time; they are open for lunch and dinner.

We also enjoyed the Thinking Cup coffee/pastry/sandwich shop on Hanover. Went back the last day to bring some delicious pastries home.

Had just one maintenance issue with Unit 1202. Every time you flushed the (vacuum) toilet, it squirted a small amount of water out onto the floor, from the base of the tank. Not noticeable unless you put the seat lid down first and then flushed. Turns out one of two nuts/bolts, that fasten the tank to the bowl, was missing.

Happy New Year, everyone !
