Just looking over Getaways and noticed French Polynesia available in II. I tried to see if my one bedroom Marriott (gold season) could exchange into something there and nothing came up despite availability in getaways.

Can anyone pull something in French Polynesia? Bora Bora for example? I noticed the huge cost in Getaways so thought maybe these units aren't ever available for exchange. If anyone can see exchange availablity in French Polynesia with a strong trader let me know. I'm wondering if my 2 bedroom NCV (Platinum) could pull it. Just dreaming...

Just saw this notation on the bottom of the resort description. I guess this answers my question. Would love to know still if anyone has ever seen anything in French Polynesia on an exchange

These are not usually owner deposits but rather resorts or properties that offer their units up to II to rent for them through their channels. The resort needs to get more than just an exchange fee as they are renting the units out instead of giving them away.

You wont ever see the Pearl Beach available as an exchange because its not a timeshare resort. Its a fantastc deal at the listed Getaway prices compared to the normal rates.

are the rates for the garden suites or overwater bungalows? I guess that would make a difference. I would love the water bungalows for 2500. I can dream!!!
