Book A Stay In Middle of Use Year Change

Question, my points reset on Jan 1st. If I book a vacation now for December 31st - January 4th would it use my current points or next year points? Or possibility of just Dec 31st coming out of this year and the rest out of next year?

It will all come out of this use year. The reservation will pull from the use year of the DAY of CHECK-IN!

… but if you modify the stay to add days at the end, those points come out of the next use year.
