Does Marriott also have the same policy like Vistana [LIFETIME-ONCE-ONLY-CHANGE]?
Last year when I switched my wife to "Primary" on our Vistana ownership so that she could qualify as Bonvoy-Platinum we had to sign a document that we acknowledged that this change is only permitted LIFETIME-ONCE-ONLY and cannot be reverted.
It took about a month for the change to reflect on her Bonvoy-Account.
Since we always travel big [6-8 people] we end up booking multiple rooms and its nice to qualify for Upgrades +Breakfast + Lounge-Access on both rooms.
From what I understand, it is a once a year deal. You can switch but if you switch again it won't take effect until the next year. I also think the first switch only takes effect for the next "Bonvoy Year".
