If this has been asked before I apologize but I will not be able to use my bonus points that I got for joining the DC program before they expire in a year. Can they be rented???

They can not be transferred to another party, and they can't be banked into a subsequent year.

I had the same problem.....

Best,

Greg

Can you reserve something with Marriott then add another name to the reservation? This might allow you to let family/friends use your points for a quick stay somewhere.

I believe you can make reservations for your friends and family and put there name on the reservation.

I used bonus points for a reservation at Marriott Timberlodge. Vacation adviser made the reservation and placed it in my daughter's name. Adviser was knowledgeable and efficient.

We previously traded for a week at the Boston Custom House for mid-May. I inquired about an additional day to extend our stay. it was available but I decided to wait to clarify some scheduling issues. Called a couple of days later and it was gone. Now on waiting list. Should have taken the day.
