Family is headed down to BC. Last time we stayed on the 13th floor of Building 5. Forget the room number but when we looked down we were just to the right of the towel hut. About 4 rooms from the elevator. Room was great. I thought the location was perfect. Close to pools and BBQ. At night we could sit on balcony and enjoy music from bar/restaurant. Unbeknownst to me my hubby who I have known 17 years does not ever want to be that high again. So we are in search of a new location. I like that building but think that if we are on a lower floor that the music may be too loud at night. We have 3 kids 5 & under and I need them to sleep at night.

So in order to expedite the check in process I feel we should have our picks ready. So where would you stay and why. The only two real requirements are that it has to be a lake facing view and cannot be too high. 5th floor tops.

We were in 1395, Building 5, a few weeks ago.

I really don't think the music is loud enough to be heard through the sliding glass door or windows. Especially with how loud the A/C is.

Also, the Bar on the back side of the lazy river closes at 10PM (earlier if it's slow). You'll hear more noise from kids yelling/laughing/playing in the river and pools.

They do do the best they can with requests. But I think they work with the guests that make requests first, rather than the ones that make demands

My last visit I asked for a lake side, fireworks view and was given building 3. 6th floor...it couldnt have been better...Pool and hot tub and a tiki bar directly below us...but we liked the music and kept the lanai door open to enjoy it...

They really do try to accommodate your requests. Like Ron pointed out requests and not demands. We are not super picky people so we like to weigh the different buildings plusses and minuses. Would take a lower floor over an upper but will not take a parking lot view unless it is the only option. We also try to check in early. While we cannot physically check in we can more often than not be checked in in the system. So we get there 1ish and then go out for lunch, stop at the food store on the way back to pick up supplies and then head back. I have found that the time best time to check in is between 12&2. After the prior weeks guests check out and the new ones arrive. I think that we know what we want going in also helps.
