Blacklisted?

Background: We have bought developer weeks through Marriott as well as resale. We have been able to get great use out of II and Our sales rep is telling us that is ending with abound. We reluctantly agreed to buy points and then rescinded it. He told us tonight Marriott will blacklist us if we back out of the contract because we have been in to a lot of presentations and haven’t bought. We have spent lots of $ with Marriott and stayed over 800 nights and I feel like he is threatening us because we are backing out. Maybe I am seeing this wrong? Looking for feedback before I respond. Thanks in advance
What location were you at? Some of these are getting brutal

What absolute bullshit. Your gut instinct is on target, it's a full bullshit threat, and should be an embarrassment to whoever supervises this person. But alas, that is unlikely.

Mind sharing the TS purchase price?

A MVC sales rep lying? Did the sun rise today? You can report this person to their management and to MVC HQ. At best you'll get a CSR extending an apology. Nevertheless, I would do so. Years ago a rep abruptly walked out on us after we declined the offer. I was told that, yes, a lot of people complain about his attitude but that he closes over two million dollars in sales. Trust me, they will continue to contact you with whatever "deal" they have going.

It is all about the numbers. A sales person doesn't have to be polite. They will usually only be polite up to a point, that point is when you decline the sale. This happened when we went and bought a used car several years ago. The dealer routed us to an in house insurance guy. He laid out the options, some of which were compelling but when I did more math I realized it would cost us more. He wanted nothing else to do with us. Wouldn't even show us where to go next. I guess had had to get back to playing Minecraft...

I can assure you the blacklist-if it exists-consists of a great group of people. Happily join!
I actually think I am on the blacklist. That’s fine with me though.
I attended one update at Custom house about 10 years ago and had to complain to get the promised rewards points for weeks afterwards. Needless to say I was not happy.
I have never again been invited to an update and I do 2 to sometimes 5 exchanges into Marriott a year.
Now Wyndham is another story.
