seems very clear to me that what you signed states regal vistas week 7....and you got woodstone instead.

likely going to cost them a bit of time and money to sort this out but thats not your responsibility to set it right vs theirs.

would also agree to call vs email.

Is this seller a TUG member? If so, it would seem important and logical to tag them in this thread so they be responsive.

Good point for a living person.

But what if upon death a will named the timeshare developer as recipient and the executor acted upon the wishes of the will by filing a deed. If asked they would say they didn't know the developer would not want it. By way of example, for most items in a will, heirs do not object to their inheritance. The executor was acting on the wishes of the will.

It still seems that the developer would not want to spend legal money fighting the estate for something that would be difficult (if not impossible) to prove, just to pay more money to lawyers to get it back in foreclosure. #justsaying
No, one cannot just transfer a property to an unsuspecting person and "assume" they wanted it. Also, the property would need to go through probate (court) in your scenario. In either case if an executor did this, they could be sued for the costs of any necessary action or other expenses to disclaim.

I'm not sure. They listed on the TUG marketplace but I'm not sure if they are a member of the forums. I did type in Brad but no "BradP" showed up which is what he used on everything. Likewise nothing with Cabotrade showed up either. The listing was awhile ago so they may not even be on the TUG marketplace anymore.

would also suggest reaching out to massanutten to start this dispute process on that end as well...no doubt they are going to be involved in making this right in one way or another.
Ironically I'm traveling to Massanutten this upcoming Friday to use one of my weeks. I may see if I can talk to someone in person while I'm there. It was supposed to be a relaxation trip though so I may just wait until I get back home and make the call. Not sure if I will have time today or tomorrow since I'm trying to clear out all pending items at work so that there's nothing waiting for me when I get back. But I will definitely either talk to someone while I'm up there or call them immediately once I get home and see what my options are. I'll report back with what they say.
