I purchased a small points package and did not think my use started until July of 2009. When wyndham got the contract set up they said I have 81000 points for use between now and July 2009. I alreay have this years trips booked so am thinking of depositing some or all into RCI.

I'm looking for the best bang for the buck. Is it possible that a 28000 generic could get me a 2 bedroom in August at a wyndham porperty?

You could use some as weekend getaways for close by resorts. Other than that, RCI would probably be your best bet.

You have a pretty good shot if you are willing to go late august, just before school starts. My 42k deposit is showing 2br's in Williamsburg, Flagstaff, Orlando, Branson, Bentley Brook, Nashville, Hawaii, Smoky Mountains, and few others.

I'd say bank the 28K points deposits with RCI, you have 2 years to use them, and if you do ongoing searches you will get lucky. I have.

OK, I am looking for the smoley mountains for my brother. So if I do a 28 k and a 42k deposit, what do I do with the 11000 left? Is that enough for a couple of nights somewhere? I am in Texas so san antonio or New Orleans are the closest
