Hi

I posted once before about getting out of our timeshare. Does anyone know if this company is any good? They said they will charge us $3000 USD to get rid of it legally. They are called
Help4TSO.

Our timeshare is in BC, Canada. The only company like that up here said they won't deal with our timeshare group LOK. They wouldn't give a reason. (Sounds scary already)

Thanks for any help

you wont find anyone on TUG suggesting the use of any company that charges upfront fees.

what efforts have you made thusfar to either contact your resort HOA to see if they would accept the ownership back...or where have you posted it for $1 (and paying closing costs) to attract a buyer?

You will be out $3,000 and still own your timeshare.

Spend a small amount, join TUG and offer your timeshare here. With the $3000 the company wants from you, you could dress up your offer by offering to pay transfer fees. Then use the balance on a vacation, maybe rent a discounted timeshare here.

Maybe I am wrong but it seems like those contemplating spending $3000 or more to a third party to "liquidate" their timeshare have a hard time sweetening their timeshare beyond free.

If you listed your timeshare here and other places like Craigslist with a bonus of $1500 or even $2000 upon successful closing you would probably have people lined up to take it.

indeed, could even offer $2000 in cash and free closing and STILL likely come out ahead vs paying $3000....
