Although it was 3 years ago, LT Transfers was fantastic. They were fast, inexpensive and responsive. I would absolutely use them again!

As far as helping your parents, I concur with the messages above, you will be hard pressed to sell that deed. I think you may be able to give it away. If they use their bonus points to help pay the 2025 MF's and, if needed, pay the rest with cash, you can offer free 2025 points as an enticement to give away.

Good luck!
Have you ever seen cash on top offers to help offset future fees (or subsidize anything really)? Wondering what makes sense here

19,000 bonus points is a lot of points. it could be almost two weeks in a 2 bedroom in Hawaii, for example.

personally that is worth a lot more to me than $1200 off MF. can neither your parents nor you use a vacation like that in 2025?

Theoretically true, but it seems Bonus Pts always come with major restrictions (that is the "bonus" I guess), so other than the $0.06/pt for MFs they can be a headache to actually use, and HI may well be out of the question.
If, in an imaginary universe, I ever went to a TS sales mtng and bought something and there were "Bonus" Pts involved, I sure hope I'd at least be smart enought to say "I don't want your heavily restricted Bonus PTs. I want these 2 reservation that they supposedly could pay for. Make those 2 res now & we have adeal, otherwise "See Ya."

Just wondering, do you have a rough timeline for how long these transactions take?
It will mainly depend on how long to find someone to take it and then I would say about 2 months.

Yes, but I wouldn't go that far right away. Someone will have to pay the 2025 MF's before it gets transferred. If you pay them in advance and offer the 2025 points for "free," you aren't out what you would have had to pay anyway. That gives you a year to give it away. If you want to offer to pay the closing or add a gift card on top later, you can.

There are a couple of HGVC deeds in there already. If you want it to go quickly, you may need to up the offer with free closing.

By my understanding, closing costs would just be the LT Transfer fees right? If bonus points can’t be transferred, then the net cash outlay for 2025 maintenance fees should be less than $400 after using the points.

The buyer will also need to pay activation fees and transfer fee which are about $1100. There is also an estoppel fee of around $70.

Unfortunately I’m not a resort / hotel person. I travel mainly to visit friends / family and stay with them.

Parents are pretty done as well with long travel
