Maybe so, but that won't really change much. Because, Cendant uses Orbitz, which uses the same booking/reservations/fares/pricing engine as Expedia. The only real difference between Orbitz, Expedia, Hotwire and Priceline, etc .... is that they have a different front end (what the consumer sees when they are doing their bookings). The 'guts' of the processing is all being done on the same platform.

I wasn't implying that it would make any difference. I was simply reporting it. Personally, I only use the travel sites to see what airlines fly to where I want to go. I book my tickets on the airline's web site because I have never seen a case where it wasn't just as cheap or cheaper.

This is when I use my frequent flier miles. I pay for the bargains I find and use the ff miles when I think it is too much.It works for me.
