Wondering which RCI resort weeks (with maintenance fees under $500) you would consider to have the strongest trading power in the weeks system.

I'd suggest a 1-BR Cape Cod July-to-mid-August fixed week. There are a half dozen or so converted motels around Hyannis-Yarmouth that trade very well if you have a midsummer week.

How about Summit at Massanutten, VA? I am sorry, it's not an answer, but this unit is 4BR L/O, so can split into 2-2BR units and MF for 4BR is under $500. Is this resort strong exchange at RCI? I only use II, so have no idea about RCI trading power for this resort.

Better yet. Get an oceanfront on Cape Cod(summer). A 1br should have a MF of about $500.00 and will trade like a tiger.

Southern California summer or a float that you can easily reserve summer.
Aquamarine Villas, Blue Whale, Sand Pebbles, doesn't matter what size.

That, too.

No way, it's all about supply vs. demand.

One of trading's best kept secrets!

I've said it before on TUG, and I'll say it again -- one of trading's best kept secrets (but not much longer if I keep talking about it :) ) -- Canadian Rockies resorts in the summer (July-August only) trade like gold on RCI. I own a 4th of July week in SoCal, and it trades EQUALLY with my two August weeks at Panorama Resort in B.C. The shine on the stars - my Panorama 1-bedroom weeks have a mf of $433 each; my SoCal week has a mf of almost $600. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out which is the better deal for trading!

Tree Tops Resort in Gatlinburg is under $500 and has always traded very well for me with both RCI and II.

I've owned there more than a decade. The resort is very well managed and has modest increases each year in maintenance fees. We've never had a special assessment.
