Best Places to Eat in Vail

Does anyone have input for restaurants not to miss in Vail? Has anyone been to the Game Creek Restaurant?

Swiss Chalet

I just came home from a week in Colorado. We had dinner at the Swiss Chalet Restaurant located in the Sonnenalp Lodge for my birthday. It was terrific. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Everything was authentically European, and it made for a very fun evening.

Another restaurant in Vail that I really like is the Alpenrose. It doesn't have a website, but it is a great place to eat and has fantastic desserts.

Great Pizza at the Blue Moose in Vail Village. Seriously, I'm originally from Ct. and New York and the pizza there is good.

About 10 years ago I went to a place called the Minturn Country Club. You cook your own steaks there (which of course you also purchase there). It was a lot of fun, and the steaks were pretty good too.
