There is NO reason for you to pay ALL of the 2016 MFs in advance ... WHY? UDI points are charged during the year .. so use all your points in March .. you still will be paying those MFs in Dec. Fixed Weeks are paid in advance ... just like F/W are paid by DEC 31 with usage in the next calendar year.

Someone is just conning $$ out of you or you are buying a converted fixed week.

Thanks I understand that now. The points package I was looking at had the incorrect info and they confirmed MF wouldn't begin until I took over their contract; however, I'm wondering what I'd do with the 2016 points anyway.

Thanks for everyone helpful info and replies. I've decided to wait and see if I can snag a decently sized contract with a good MF/points ratio.

EDIT: If I purchase two different contracts - one CWA and one deeded to a specific resort, would I only pay 1 yearly fee of $128 (or higher depending on how many points I have), or are they separate fees since they're separate products?

I simply needed some extra points and went out to Sumday Vacations and they had an Annual contract with 168,500 points. It was only $10 (which included title/transfer fees) after their current special, so I bought it. Only downside is its a converted week for week 13 (last week of that High season in March), but I have no complaints.

Product ID: SV54831-39772

Unit Price: $29.99

They would combine in one account, and you would pay based on the total number of points.
