best location for marriott canyon villas in Arizona

Hi we will be going to the canyon villas in Arizona in the middle of April and are curious what would be considered the best location. We have no small children but we do like to stay by a pool. Does this marriott have any quiet pools or just the main pool. Also does anybody have a current map of the property.

The resort is right next to the golf course.

Use the compass in the left hand corner to see views from different angles.

You can drag the picture on the screen as well. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Over near the main pool you can see the construction of the two newest buildings. Over by the resort hotel you can see the lazy river.

That's a great map.
The two buildings shown under construction on the map are now finished. We've stayed in both of them. The landscaping is completed. There is a quiet labyrinth garden in front of one of them. But there's a new building going up on the other side of that garden.

No quiet pool--yet.

You can't see the JW Lazy River from the villas because it's at the very back of the JW Hotel.

Our favorite locations are facing the golf course. Think of the building as the letter T. We like to be at the top left of the T. (2631 eg.) If you leave the drapes open the JW is beautifully lit at night. In the morning the sun comes up that way.

In December '08 the sales offices are going to be converted to villas, and all sales will be at the hotel. Those villas are a prime location overlooking the pool, golf course beyond and the JW.

There is a well traveled road (car, bus and shuttle) separating the villas and the hotel property.
