Best Airlines with Inflight WiFi

Does anybody "use" InFlight WiFi??? Comments???

Of course. Try searching TUG for comments.

Yes, I bring my iPad for Southwest. jet Blue I use the TV they provide. Makes for a more enjoyable flight

I find it useful. For instance checking the airline's site for gate info. If you have a tight connection, knowing before landing where the next flight's gate is can save precious minutes and your nerves. Tightwad that I am, I shop free on eBay on Delta. Not that I buy anything. OK, it's not really THAT useful.

I prefer the gogoinflight service. I wasn't especially impressed with the offering on SWA's and probably won't spend the money a second time. For those who have not used inflight Wifi keep in mind that it does not support streaming services such as Netflix.

Here is the information from SWA site...

Just got off flights on both American and Delta this past week. Both use Gogoinflight. Service on both airlines was without incident and was functional. Gogo does not offer online streaming. Costs were $16 for all day service, $5 for one hour of service and I believe I paid $6 for all day service on my smart phone. I used the smart phone option on Delta as wifi wasn't available on both flights and the flight from STL to MSP was only 1:15. Long enough I wanted some distraction but not long enough I wanted to pay $16. For the second leg of that itenary I simply had downloaded a movie the night before and watched it on the non-wifi enabled flight.
