Well, that's going to stink.
 
I'm at Grande Ocean now. It's been very orderly with officials everywhere. They euthanized the whale yesterday and it died late, before midnight. They moved it up from the water and are no measuring it and taking samples. The hard part is going to be getting it off the beach.

Will they actually remove it off the beach or just dig deep and bury it on site?

Today May 5th they were performing an autopsy. They also were digging a grave to bury the whale. It was a juvenile male that looked in distress. Very sad!
