beach weather at newport coast villas end of october beginning of nov

Might have a possible week at newport coast villas starting oct 30th. wondering if it is still beach weather at this time.

should be dry cool and lots of sun.

We are going in January 23rd and it could be rainy a bit then. It is a great resort . October is a really good coast month in my opinion.Often calm and no fog .Go for it!!!!

We were there last month at the end of Oct. and the weather was beautiful. We laid by the pool and went to the beach almost everyday.
 
October should be beautiful. You should be able to go to the beach. Did you know that November has the most sunny days along the Southern California coast out of the whole year? Heard that on weather channel one time.

October is often warm & mild due to our Santa Ana (desert) winds. Novermber is often the transition month with temps getting cool or cold at least 50% of the time.

This year has just been a bit weird and not really normal at all. We went from heat wave, to just below normal warm conditions to now cool fall conditions today in about one week's time. A large storm is hitting the NorCal coast tomorrow and is expected to give us an inch or two of much needed rain...unless you are in a recent burn area where it will likely trigger mud slides.

That is set to pass by Thursday and we'll see where things are after that.

I live 10 minutes away from NCV. I can tell you that at the end of October it begins to start cooling off here. However, with the Santa Ana winds that come the weather can quickly go from the high 60's to the 80's. So in other words, you may or may not be able to go to the beach.

I don't know where you live, but if you are Minnesota or the east coast, you will feel as if it is the summer. In either case the weather should be at its worse in the high 60's or low 70's in the day and as low as the 40's in the evening.

However, the weather is very, very unpredictable.

Beach weather really depends on what you want to do at the beach. If you want to play in the surf, then lay in the sun, then likely NO not beach weather, If you want to do daily walks on the beach (like we do every time we stay there) or just sit in the sun on a beach chair then YES the weather will likely be great for things like that.

On the other hand, with the heated pools & hot tubs even a 60 degree day is a nice day for sitting around the pool, just pull on a sweat shirt after drying off.
 
Ocean temp. is currently 64, and will likely be around 60 by the end of the month. End of October could be 55 with rain or 85 with hot Santa Ana winds. More than likely somewhere right in between.
 
The others are right, October could be great or maybe not so great if a system is moving through. It's all in what you are lucky to get, but I'm an optimist and I know October weather can be gorgeous, so I will hope for the best for you!!

we are at Newport right now...overcast in the mornings...might rain tonight and for the next 2 days....in the high 60's today but by the end of the week they say it will be in the 80's again...just in time for us to leave....
