Banking 2008 RCI points

We think we have found a timeshare to purchase. It comes w/60,000 RCI points. We are unable to use the week during 2008. When I asked the seller about banking 2008 points, he said he thought it was too late. Is it? What can we do with the points?:hi:

RCI Points are banked automatically. It's too late to use them without an exchange fee if you wanted to.

There are questions you need answers to. Not all RCI Points ownerships transfer as Points. Some resorts try to stick you for yet another conversion. You need to know the specifics for the resort you're buying.

If the seller owns no other RCI weeks (either in the Weeks or Points systems), then maybe he/she can just transfer his RCI membership to you. If not, you'll have to find out from RCI the exact process for joining and getting the Points into your account for 2008.
