I just got my ongoing search confirmed today.

We fell in love with Marriott's Waiohai when we were there in Dec. Enough so I promptly put in a search for spring of 2013.

I am kind of astounded that we matched for President's Day! It is right over DH birthday so I am doubly excited.

Having said that, is this bad? Is it going to be so ridiculously crowded that it isn't as much fun?

We mainly hang out at the timeshare and relax so maybe it won't be so bad?

I don't think you'll have a problem. We were there this Presidents day and it
Was crowded but the locals said it's not like the summer. All the businesses
Were very happy with the increase in business over last year and they said they
Have bookings way ahead of last year all the way through this summer.

One thing we did notice was the rental cars were all booked, so you may want to
Start looking for an affordable rental right away.

Kauai is our favorite island. We're making our plans for 2013 right now.:D

Thanks for the tip about the rental car. They miss no opportunity to gouge the customer.

I was a bit concerned about the resort being completely full and getting the horrible parking lot view!
