Hola tuggers,
back last night from an awesome return to Mazatlan. If you have any questions, let me know. We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito and El Cid.

Adios

Just a few questions:
  • How was the dentist?
  • What and where was your favorite meal?
  • Did you go to Las Flores on Sunday, and if you did, was Rick Lewis there?

1) The dental procedure (chemical bleaching) was very painful. The results are fabulous! We were told someone would pick us up at the airport and they didn't. That annoyed us as we had only brought a certain amount of u.s dollars (for the procedure and tips) and had to find alternate transportation.

2) Our favorite meal was everynight! LOL. Our memorable meals were at The Place, Gus and Gus, Chilis Pepper. We only ate lunch out a couple of times. Once was a sandwich at Mary's in the GZ. (good)

3) We didn't go to Las Flores although that was the intent. All the more reason to plan next years trip now!

Very Painful???

Was it very painful because of the way it was done - or the proceure itself? What exactly made it painful (if you don't mind me asking!)

It was the chemical that gets on the gums that hurts. Many complain of the sensitivity of the teeth afterward which I didn't experience.

The laser procedure lessens the time the chemical can be on your gums. I went the cheaper route so it took about an hour. There is a gel that is spread on your gums prior to the procedure but it is difficult to get it on the gums close to your teeth without covering your teeth which will eliminate the bleaching process.

I was told afterward (and my only complaint about this procedure) that I should have taken a pain med prior. No one told me that.

However, like childbirth :), I am thrilled with the result!
