Can someone tell me what the weather is like in Aruba in December? I booked at the Surf Club, and have only a few hours left to cancel. Is it really raniny. I've read different opinions on this. Is this considered off season?

I think you will love it. The newspaper jokes that they never have a weather forecast because it never changes. Should be mid-80's. We were there in October last year and it rained a bit, but nothing bad.

Not much variation at all.

December is considered off season, except for Christmas week. We were there last December. The first full week. It rained really hard on 3 different days. 2 of those rains were less than 30 minutes and the other one lasted a couple of hours. After that, the temps were mid to high 80's and the sun was shining like usual.

We stayed at Marriott Surf Club in Aug.!

We loved Marriott Surf Club....We were there mid August though...
lots of families and schoolkids before returning back to school..

May I suggest Trip Advisor, Aruba Forum...very active forum...lots and lots of info on aruba hotels, restaurants, etc.

Marriott Surf Club is I think such a convenient location..."walking distance" to restaurants like Texas De Brazil, Smokey Joes, lots of them...

Enjoy....I think you will enjoy this property...Pool area is lovely...lazy river..
We had 2 BR there and it was quite spacious and well furnished...People do get up early however to reserve charis in front rows at pool....

We would not hesitate to return to Marriott Surf Club again!Enjoy!:hi:

Thanks everyone! I am so excited about going. Now I need to book the airfare. Unfortunately, I am not seeing any good rates for non stop from Philadelphia. We may head down 95 and fly out of Dulles.

Dulles has had some great fares to AUA recently. How about JFK on Jetblue?
