Just curious what Tugers see?

Blue and Black for me.

Gold and white - I don't understand blue and black?

weird - when I saw it on TV - blue and black
but when I saw photo on FB - it was gold and white

I see white and gold and my husband saw blue and black. So fascinating!

Gold and white. Whichever, though, it's a very pretty and appropriate dress for a (formal) wedding guest. :)

The sportstalk radio guys had a field day this afternoon with this topic, made for very entertaining radio! Their only consensus - they all need to see the woman who wore it.

White & gold. This was the hot topic in most of my classes today.

White and gold. My daughter showed it to me last night, and was excited to be in on the debate so early. She said today it would be all over the internet and news. And it is. The real dress is black and blue. I'm sure in person we would all see it correctly.

Definitely Blue and black!!!
My husband and daughter vote white and gold however.

We all looked at it last night, same laptop screen, same time:

DD & I saw white and gold, DH & DS saw blue and black.

Fascinating! (with a nod to Mr. Spock and his raised eyebrow).

It seems that the difference goes along gender lines to some degree. A lot of men see blue and black and many women see white and gold. Of course the MEN are right!

Though it isn't just gender based, as one of the articles indicated that about 75% saw white and gold while the other 25% saw blue and black. Unless most of the respondents were female.

That is so weird - I just saw a copy of the dress in "blue and black," and now the pictures that I first saw as gold and white, look blue and black!:eek::eek:

I saw white and gold, and could not believe anyone would ever say they saw blue and black. Crazy!

I see white & gold. DH said it looks blue & black.

Must have to do with the lighting in the room. This evening without daylight from the sun the dress is now white and gold. Can't find blue/black in any of the pictures now.

I see sort of blue but if I would normally just assume it was white in a weird light. I don't see black at all. So I would say I am looking at a white and gold dress that looks sort of blue in the light it was photographed.

Would like to actually see the dress. Suspect it's white and gold but lighting means everything. In a few photos I have seen white and gold but the most common ones are a light to medium blue with either very dark gold/brown or almost black trim. Only in the photos showing white&gold, light blue&dark gold/brown, and the royal blue&black side by side do I see the royal blue. The typical photos always look like the middle photo to me. (Light blue&dark gold/brown).

White and gold. I don't get this whole thing.

See the link in post #8, there are photos of the actual dress in much better lighting. There is bad lighting and most suspect that it is the high amount of back lighting that are the cause for people to see the color differently.
