Are you finding Toilet Paper now available?

I made a Supermarket run on Thursday April 9th and was surprised to find a good selection of available Toilet Paper. Now granted the shelves weren't jam packed, but none the less they had ample available TP and about four different brands to select from.

Does anyone think the TP hoarding now history?

Are other Tuggers finding TP now available or are their supermarket shelves still empty?

.

The shelves are still empty here in San Jose. I did spot some small 4 packs at Rite aid the other day, they still had a limit of one package per person. I managed to find it in stock at Amazon the other day, and now have some coming later this week.

Actually all the paper products are still very scarce here, Toilet paper, paper towels and napkins

Yes,I have been able to find in OC, CA. I go to Costco and make sure I get there early.

I am hoping hand sanitizer becomes available soon. We have found TP and paper towels but not hand sanitizer.

We haven't needed to buy it yet as we still have a supply from Costco that we bought long before the hoarding started. But my dd is saying one of her co-workers in Los Alamos has been having problems. Their local Smith's is out. She doesn't want to pay the over-inflated prices on line. So she has been ordering take out from restaurants that offer a roll or two of tp with their orders.

I don’t know if you have Smart & Final there but the local one here has had the 500-packs of paper napkins.

yes , I'm seeing TP and paper towels in Costco and my local market.
No hand sanitizer. And once I picked up some chlorox wipes at Costco.
I haven't seen them since.

I picked up a mega-pack of Charmin just before hording started.

At the time, I thought: "Here I go, buying stuff we don't need...
But maybe it'll keep my DW from coming here to shop for a bit."
-- It worked -- DW hasn't been out shopping, and it's unopened.

Found some for the first time today.........it's been well over a month since I've seen any. Costco had paper towels and napkins but no tp

I just so happened to get up early on Thursday and decided to hit the grocery store at 6 am, which I never do, and yes, they had toilet paper napkins and paper towels. Bounty. Limit one package. Hit the jackpot! First time in like 6 weeks. Still no wipes, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Tyleno, Lysol, or bread flour or yeast.

Never saw a shortage.

Cheers

I've found a fair supply here. One might not get their chosen brand, but reasonably early mornings, the stores are fairly well stocked with TP, paper towels, kleenex. What I have been unable to find has been yeast. DW wanted to do some bread baking, and I scored some flour last week, but even going at the crack of dawn during 'senior hours', no yeast. Also- humorously- there is not a sewing machine in any store here! What??? people are buying $2,000 sewing machines to make masks out of bedsheets to give away or sell for a couple of bucks" REALLY!

I got tired of hunting for it, so a couple of weeks ago, I ordered 8 of the stadium size rolls from Amazon. I haven't had to use them yet, but if needed, I now have over 8,000 liner feet. :D

When this is all over, you'll be able to TP the trees in your entire neighborhood!

We certainly have considered selling it to teenagers.

We found our first 16-pack at Smart & Final this week. But prior to that we'd found two 4-packs somewhere, and a six pack at Trader Joe's. Now we can take TP off our list, but I'll be darned if we can find dishwasher pods anywhere. I'm down to my last 20 pods and we are now washing dishes more often because l'm cooking. Still have a freezer full of Lean Cuisine, but I'll be darned if I'm going to eat sensibly during the apocalypse!

According to DW, Costco.com hasn’t had any since the day 1 or 2 weeks when she ordered successfully to have it delivered

Try Target. I ordered 2 large containers of Cascade Platinum online on Target website when Costco online has been showing out of stock.

It’s hit or miss here. Our SafeWay was out of all paper products but most other stuff was back in stock.

We actually bought the regularly amount of paper towels and toilet paper back in early March. On our last store visit on 3/14, my husband said what the heck and he picked up another bag of Quilted Northern TP from Krogers. We have not set foot into any store thereafter.

Since SIP/SAH, I have been checking Costco's site periodically for Vanity Fair dinner size paper napkins, paper towels and toilet paper. I managed to snag 4 bags of Vanity Fair dinner size paper napkins when it showed up one day, so now that is good for a year. :) In early April, Viva paper towels showed up and I ordered 2 bags so we are also good for another year. Today I found Kirkland brand toilet paper and I ordered a bag, so we are good for at least another 6 months now that we have 2 unopened bags of TP. <I can hear someone saying "hoarder">

Toilet paper has not been a problem. However, getting Lysol products still is next to impossible.

None here. I think stores bring out a pallet and it goes immediately and that's that till the next truck.

Local distilleries here are making hand sanitizer and will fill your plastic bottle for a flat, token amount.

Costco seemed very well-stocked with TP when I went Monday morning, and it is usually restocked on Costco.com on the regular. I haven't looked for it or been anywhere else recently. (Did a curb-side Target pick-up, but haven't been to a "regular" grocery store in about four or five weeks now...)

If you haven't found TP by now, you aren't trying hard enough. We've found enough on-line by now we don't need anymore. And the stores are coming back in stock.
