Are there club fees on enrolled FW?

My son’s in-laws just gave back points to Marriott. The contract stated that they would receive a refund of MF and club fees but they didn’t receive the club fees.

I have a resale FW but I don’t recall club fees.

There are annual club dues which enrolled owners pay. The amount depends on your ownership level, but they range from (something like) $220-295 if I recall correctly. I assume if the contract said that club fees would be refunded, this is what it was referring to. (I think all points owners are enrolled owners, so your relatives must have been paying the club dues.)

You are paying them too, I expect, but they might be in the same invoice as your maintenance fees and so you lump them together and don't notice.

MFV are the letters for Marriott's Fairway Villas. Not sure where the "FW" is that @Pink_Warrior is referring to......

The only thing I could think of was Westin Flex but that would be WF not FW and resale wouldn't be enrolled.

If your week not enrolled you don’t pay club dues- you are not in the club.
Points are in the club and pay club dues.
