I think the feature is in the watch and then you set your emergency contacts in your phone. My boys were thrilled that I had mine set up.I have an iPhone 14, the normal one, no Mini or Pro, i probably have these settings too? I dont have any other Apple products to alert me though
I "have" an apple watch .... I mean its a Series 2 Nike watch from like 2018 that has been overcharged and the battery lasts maybe 4 hours at best.
And, if I recall correctly, you would need a newer version of the watch, which should pair just fine with your existing phone. This is a newer feature which was only added to later versions of the watch. However, it does not need to be the fanciest. My mom has an Apple Watch which she said she got on a deal at Walmart. Her watch has this feature. So, maybe time to upgrade? Maybe your old one has some trade-in value?
