FIVE (that's what I get for not paying attention - ooops (line 2 yellow letter that I didn't use again til line 5 - duh)). I guess hard mode would keep me for making this type error? However I never would have solved yesterday (UVULA) without 2 burners.

Struggled to get a five today. I wasn't expecting much from my opening word, but it met my criteria (two vowels and either a t or an n or both) and it didn't disappoint me. I got little out of it.
[I like using different opening words every day, so this one came up as something I had not used before. For me using differing opening words is more fun that trying to find a word that gives me the most chance of winning every day and using it every time. Personal preference.]
