I often do the exact same thing to get my opening word. Great minds think alike😉

I like going with the first word I think of and then I go from there based on what letters show up. It may not be the most efficient way to find the answer but using the same starter word every day isn’t fun to me.

That's pretty much what I do. I used to start with STARE everyday, but it got boring. When my streak gets high, I get nervous and maybe not so brave.
