Here was my strategy today

After one guess, I decided the word was either SHEAR, SMEAR, SPEAR, or SWEAR

Rather than try to get it in two (and possibly end up with a five)..... I guessed WHOMP.... and then got it in three,

Thats a great strategy unless you’re playing in hard mode. hard mode puts you in the EAR trap where Sandi and I ended up. Now youre depending on a lucky guess . Its a scary place!

I was in that same barber chair! After four tries, 3 possibilities remained, so I resorted to an elimination word on five, and settled for a six.
