Anyone playing wordle?

I tried a bad starter word this morning which actually turned up a couple letters and methodically, eventually, led to a five.

I've not been following this thread BUT has anyone had an issue with Wordle resetting the streak count? Today it told me I had a streak of 1. I am very, very sure I didn't miss a day this week. This happens to me every 2-3 months. Maybe it's early senility but I'm 99.9% sure I play every morning.

So just wondering if anyone has had streak abnormalities.

I’ve had it reset when I don’t play (I missed a day in November) and I had an issue when NYTimes transitioned Wordle from beta mode to live mode. That was about 2 years ago, I think.

Oh yeah... one day it reset on me - I was at a point I was going to break my long-term record and was on right at midnight and I'm guessing I confused it, IDK. I lost my record breaking streak, but would have about a week or so later anyways. And tomorrow I will be at my record breaking streak again (81), I will not be on at midnight.

I've also reset because I was traveling and somehow got logged off and didn't realize it. So even though I did it, it wasn't tracked (my bad). So maybe double-check you are logged in at those times you get reset?
