Answer lies somewhere in between. I left ER after 12 hours and given no idea when they’d have a room, of course 30 minutes later he is ensconced. Seems to be a large blood clot in the bladder, they are still working on getting rid of it — likely surgery which means no food and it’s now been 24 hours since dinner and he’s starving!

Man, you guys are making me look bad today! Nah, I did it to myself. Had to use an elimination word to salvage a six. Not a good way to start the week.
