I have asked this before......in tombanjo's guess of DEBTS above....wordle wouldn't have that type of plural word with an S on the end, would it?

IMHO, no to DEBTS. But I used HIVES yesterday. No, as a plural to a place where bees live. But I think yes as to hot itchy red skin.
ETA I see HIVES is not on the valid answers list, but I beg to disagree.

Someone in Words With Friends 2 taught me that silly word is a real word. Works well to get 4 vowels out of the way with first guess, so I keep using it

Debts is the plural of debt. Four letter words adding an S to make plural not allowed. Hives is a medical condition, only used with an “s” at the end; as far as I know unless you are talking about bees you don’t have a single hive.

Does anyone else here play Words With Friends 2 (app)? It’s an online scrabble type game, but there is a daily Wordle-type puzzle if you play in a Club too. Our club has a few spots open at the moment, if anyone would like a game and a club invite just lmk
