Anyone playing wordle?

On a similar note….does anyone here play waffle? It’s in the same vein as wordle but not a NYT game. I started playing it because one wordle puzzle per day is not enough for me.

Played with today’s puzzle to get a feel for it. Got nowhere but will try it again. Looks like it is something Cliff will like.

OH, It's another game! I'll have to check it out, however, I also do the nyt mini (my siblings and I do wordle, connections, and the mini everyday).

What about spellbee.org ? Cliff and I work that independently, and then compare/combine results over dinner. Seven letters, words must be at least four letters long and contain a certain letter, one or more words use all the letters and give extra points. Some days the puzzles are miserable. Love the days there is an i-n-g available. The solution is given the next day so you can see what you missed and/or learn new words. I now know what HING is!

I had the last four letters on third try. There were three possibilities for the first letter (unless I missed something), so I was assured of at least a six. I used two of them to get a five. Friggin’ rhyming words!

Pretty much the same as yesterday for me. Phew!

Three letters correct starting on line two and then had to try endless combinations for the last two letters. Tried some much more common words but almost bombed. I feel like I'm on a real losing streak.

I’ve played strands a few times. It’s pretty tough, at least for me

I thought I finally got the hang of it about a week ago and finished it pretty quickly for a few days. Then, it got tough again. I do like playing it, though.
