Four (or three if I can invoke my rule that if you strike out on line one it doesn't count toward your total). To be honest, I really stuggled to come up with something that worked. Hats off to those who got it in two.

Four. Even though I had one correctly placed letter on my first word, I was quickly running out of letters to use. It went fairly fast, but was not easy (for me).
