Anyone playing wordle?

Four. This has happen to a couple of you lately. I actually had the correct word typed in on line three, but changed my mind and put in a different (and wrong) word. Oh well.

Four seems to be the number today. Kismet?

Squeaked by with a six today.

As the snow flies
On a cold and gray Chicago mornin'

All the Wordle tries
'Cause if there's one thing where I'm not bright
Is getting vowels and constants right

A two for the kid. While it might not look like I got that much help on my opening word, there was not much else that would fit after that.

Same as @clifffaith, a five. Tough word, but I made it tougher with a brain fart on my third try.

Five for me. Crazy morning.

Now let me go get my rear kicked by Connections... :D

At the other end of the spectrum. Abject failure! 😞 Too many possibilities. I should have resorted to an elimination word.

Three. Took a chance on line three. Could easily gone down the rabbit hole that a few of you did trying to guess the forth letter. My thinking on line three was that even if it was wrong, it would establish where the one letter belonged. That was still in doubt as there were words where it could have been in either position.
