Anyone playing wordle?

Tired from coming back from a trip and my heart wasn't really in it, but got it in four.

A fast four today.

I vary my starting word each day but my philosophy is to start with a word that has three consonants and two vowels. I also try to avoid a word with an A and an E since it is very rare that both those vowels are in the target word.

Interesting analysis of Wordle on NYT today. Hope it’s not behind the paywall. If it is, I can cut and paste the article.

Interesting. I use ADIEU almost every day, but rarely as my starter word. I use it second or third to try and find vowels after having a consonant or two to build from.

And coincidentally, I'm not interested in solving it in the fewest guesses. My goal is to solve it before running out of chances.

Me too! My goal is also to solve it before using up all the opportunities. I have been faithfully using Adieu and Storm 1st and 2nd, may want to try some other words mentioned in the article.

Four. Also with no letters on the first word! This is not humorous!

FOUR (kind of pathetic 3rd guess, I was being very lazy - really should have had this in three... )

Three. Probably should have gotten it in two, but I moved a known letter on my second line. I guess I shouldn't be playing this early in the morning.

I’ll just sit alone at the bar with my five.
